The Great Commission

The Great Commission ++++++++++++++++++ But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. Acts 20:24 KJV King Solomon after all his experimentations with different pursuits comes to a clear conclusion: (Ecclesiastes 12:13) Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. In our focus scripture this morning, Paul says, his life is worth nothing, unless he completes the race; the task that the Lord Jesus has assigned to him, the task of testifying of the gospel of salvation. Wise King Solomon and Paul are on the same page! What about you and I? (Matthew 28:19-20) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen. This very last instruction of our Lord Jesus was addressed to the eleven disciples but was it also for us? YES, it is for everyone who becomes Jesus' disciple. What about our carriers, building families etc? Whiles they are not wrong; in fact God creates countless opportunities for us to share the gospel and show some love to folks in our carrier settings etc. Our carriers are a means NOT and End! The end is to testify of the gospel of Salvation. Unfortunately, many live their lives entirely focused on the carriers, amassing wealth etc. without using these tools to do the ultimate... revealing Christ to the World. The truth is that whiles many of us claim we are followers of Christ, very few of us are willing to do the ultimate which is to share Christ. What can we do today to address the issue of millions who die daily without ever hearing the gospel? The first is PRAYER! This is certainly for ALL CHRISTIANS! Yes, Jesus Himself directed this! (Matthew 9:37-38) Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. When it is possible the labourers include YOU! I have also found that the few who are willing to go out to share the gospel are constrained by several factors. Financing some of these activities could be some ones way of participating in the sharing of the gospel. *Training of Missionaries (Very Important) *Out Reach Programs *Follow Up Activity. Make a quality decision to support financially your church's activities in this area especially. Your support should not prevent you from sharing the gospel when the opportunity presents. Be Missions minded! In our little Church Community (The Rehoboth) we take these challenges seriously. We have Missionaries in training. We are constantly executing Out Reach Programs. (The next will be on the 10th. September 5.30PM @Vera Spot Community 4 Tema). We are also grateful to the LORD, when we receive support for these activities: If you are within Ghana you can use the following channel to send us some support. God richly bless you in advance. *713*089# (Ref: GComm) : *If this doesn't work for you, please contact me on whatsapp. https://wa.me/233208815788 God bless Us All.
