Pure Thoughts ++++++++++++ Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Philippians 4:8 KJV Our thoughts define us. It is so important that our thoughts are focused on "these things". Generally speaking, they are excellent, praiseworthy events, plans, circumstances, memories etc. They are positive! When we are pressed in life, we have a tendency of being negative and overfocused on the challenge in our thoughts. We do so because we are looking at our inadequacies, our lack of capacity. We must look to God. God is able to.... (Ephesians 3:20) Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, When we focus on God and His strength, our minds will naturally dwell on "these things", the positive things. We will not worry! We will NOT fret. Our general outlook will be positive. Listen to the voice of faith! Let the weak say I am strong! We are strong because we are relying on God's Strength made available to us through Christ. Watch your thoughts! Be calculating in your thoughts! Dispel a negative thought with God's Word. Trust in the saying ..(Luke 21:28b) then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
