Even There....He Is My Guide And Protector ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Even there shall thy hand lead me, And thy right hand shall hold me. Psalm 139:10 KJV This morning we have two powerful promises we can remember to lean on in our journey. The first is that the hand of the Lord will lead you; and secondly the right hand of the Lord shall hold you. Awesome! To provide a bit of context; in preceding verses David describes how the Lord knows us so intimately. He knows where we are physically, emotionally, and psychologically. There is nothing about us that is hidden from Him. He knows our thoughts and the words on our tongues. We can never hide anything from Him. His Presence is all-encompassing. He stretches this thought to its zenith and says; (Psalms 139:8) If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.(Psalms 139:9) If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Literally saying that if I fly at the speed of light to the farthest point of the sea.. Even there.... The Lord is still able to keep these two promises because He is right there with you. Do you feel lost this morning? Perhaps you have been searching all this while and it feels your life is just going round in circles. Easy! Put your trust in Him for He is able to lead you. He will surely lead you to a safe place. He will lead you to a successful end. When the right hand of God holds you.. what is there to be afraid of? His protection is so so complete.
